The Geneva Park District is bringing back its free Concerts in the Park series this July, with four Wednesday evening shows planned for River Park along the Fox River.

For the first show, you can even ditch the car and join your neighbors for an organized group ride to the park.

Here's what to know:

  • The lineup: Four free concerts run every Wednesday in July — July 8 (Good Clean Fun), July 15 (Wildwood Country), July 22 (The Throwbacks), and July 29 (Mr. Myers Band). Get details on each band.

  • Details: Shows run 7–8:30PM at River Park, 151 N. River Lane on the west side of the Fox River. Food trucks will be on-site at select dates, including Cousins Maine Lobster on July 8 and Golden Eagle Hotdogs on July 15. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. The venue is wheelchair accessible with street parking and nearby city lots.

  • The bike bus: For the July 8 opener, the Geneva Bike & Pedestrian Committee is organizing an organized group “bike bus” ride to the show. Three routes (Williamsburg, Western Avenue, and East Side) all depart at 6:30PM and arrive at River Park by 6:45PM. Bike racks will be available along the south side of the park. Don’t forget lights, a lock, and a helmet.

All ages are welcome, and admission is free for all four shows.
