The first big weekend of residential deal hunting is coming up next weekend in Geneva (April 24-25), and the garage sale opportunities will keep rolling into next month.
Here's what you should know if you're planning to go sale hopping — or even host your own:
Geneva — April 24-25
The 2026 Geneva City-Wide Garage Sale runs Friday and Saturday, 8AM to 4PM, with participating households spread across downtown, the east side of the Fox River, Williamsburg, Randall Square, Eaglebrook, and Mill Creek.
Close to 90 sales are already registered, and the Geneva Chamber is accepting new registrations through Friday, April 17. More details and registration.
St. Charles — May 1-2
The St. Charles Park District is organizing a citywide sale on Friday and Saturday, 8AM to 4PM. It's open to any resident and/or household with a St. Charles address.
Registered hosts get a listing in the official tour guide, advertising in local outlets, and a yard sign and balloon for the driveway. Proceeds benefit the STC Underground Teen Center. More details and registration.
Batavia — May 1-2
Batavia's City-Wide Garage Sale celebrates its 32nd year over the same first weekend in May, and as always it doubles as a fundraiser — the Batavia Fireworks Committee runs the event to help pay for the city's July 4th Sky Concert at Engstrom Park.
An interactive map will go live closer to the date. More details and registration.
North Aurora — May 15-16
The Village of North Aurora caps sale season with its Spring Community Garage Sale on Friday and Saturday. Participation is free for North Aurora residents, and hosts can set their own hours.
Registration is open through Thursday, May 7, and printed and digital maps will be available through the village. More details and registration.
Whether you’re clearing space or stocking up, hopefully this helps you plan the next few weekends.
