Swedish Days is in full swing in downtown Geneva, and if you haven’t made it out yet, what are you waiting for?

Highlighting Wednesday and Thursday is the special Swedish Nights shopping event, but the festival keeps rolling through Sunday with food booths, live music, a carnival and the famous parade at 1PM on Sunday.

What to know:

  • This year marks the 75th anniversary of Swedish Days, with festivities running through Sunday (6/22) including a craft beer tent, Kids’ Day and Sunday’s parade.

  • Swedish Nights will run Wednesday (6/18) and Thursday (6/19) with local shops staying open late and offering special deals.

  • Several downtown streets are closed, and parking restrictions are in effect throughout the week — watch for signs and detours. Get the details here.

  • My buddies with the Geneva Bike Committee rolled out a new bike route and parking map for cyclists looking to safely ride to and from the fest.
