A pond builder and a garden center are this year’s picks for the Made in St. Charles Awards.
Aquascape Construction’s Pond Shop & Inspiration Center and Heinz Brothers Greenhouse Garden Center will be honored for producing their goods right here in town.
Here’s what to know:
Growing locally: The St. Charles Business Alliance’s Business Development and Sales Committee focused this year’s selections on businesses that help the community grow by cultivating products locally. “We’re excited to recognize another great group of St. Charles businesses through the Made in St. Charles Program,” said Jenna Sawicki, the Alliance’s executive director.
What the program celebrates: Launched in 2022, Made in St. Charles recognizes the creativity and innovation of local businesses that make their products in St. Charles.
Social spotlight first: Both winners will be featured on the Alliance’s social media pages in the weeks leading up to the formal recognition.
Ceremony at City Hall: The awards will be presented during the St. Charles City Council meeting on Monday, Nov. 16.
