The Batavia and Geneva Police Departments will collect unwanted or expired prescription medications at their respective stations as part of National Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday.
Drop-offs can be made from 10AM-2PM, no questions asked.
Among the items that will be accepted:
Prescription medications
Medication samples
Over-the-counter medications
Vitamins
Pet medications
Non-controlled DEA drugs
Lotions and gels
According to the information provided by both cities, accepted and non-accepted items may differ a bit from town to town. Here’s more detailed information about Batavia’s program and Geneva’s program.
It’s unclear if the St. Charles Police Department will be participating, but Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care St. Charles will be accepting drop-offs during the same time period on the same day.
