Four D303 graduates will be honored this month as the Distinguished Alumni Class of 2025. The award recognizes District 303 alumni who have demonstrated a high level of achievement in their field of endeavor or in their contributions to the community.

This year’s class holds professional roles in the fields of medicine, entrepreneurship, law, and space aeronautics.

Honorees are selected by the D303 Distinguished Alumni Committee, which is now chaired by Linsday Boynton, a St. Charles East High School graduate and North High School teacher. Since the Committee’s formation in 1997, a total of 75 alumni have received the prestigious honor.

“This is such a remarkable group of people and highly accomplished professionals,” said Mayor Clint Hull, a 1985 graduate of St. Charles High School and 2001 recipient of the award. He will join Lindsay in presiding over this month’s ceremonies honoring the Distinguished Alums. “We are so looking forward to welcoming them back to D303, honoring them at our reception, and then having them visit our high schools and connect with our students. We always hear from our students and teachers just how meaningful it is to spend time with the alumni who walked the same halls they do.”

“There’s no better testament to our schools and our educators than seeing and hearing how they helped our alumni find their pathway to excellence,” D303 Superintendent Dr. Paul Gordon said. “This year’s class of Distinguished Alums have reached such a high pinnacle of excellence, and we’re extremely honored to have them back in D303 so that we can celebrate and share their outstanding accomplishments.”

The public is invited to attend a reception and ceremony on Thursday, November 13 at the Lincoln Professional Learning Center, 211 S 6th Ave. A meet-and-greet with honorees will take place at 4:30 p.m., followed by a ceremony from 5–6 p.m.

On Friday, November 14, the 2025 Distinguished Alums will tour St. Charles East and North high schools and meet with students and staff.
