Several book events are coming up in the Tri-Cities, giving fans the chance to meet local and nationally known authors, hear their stories, and grab a signed copy of new books.
Here’s what’s on the calendar:
Saturday, Sept. 6 – Geneva: Festival of the Vine book signing
USA Today bestselling author JB Michaels will sign copies of his cozy mystery “The Festival of the Vine”, part of his Mac & Millie series, from 1:30–4PM during Geneva’s Festival of the Vine. The novella unfolds right here in town, mixing small-town flavor with a spooky whodunit.
Sunday, Sept. 7 – Geneva: Harvey’s Tales author visit
Elburn author Hayley Gelfuso will be at Harvey’s Tales Bookstore & Café in Geneva from 2-4PM signing her debut novel “The Book of Lost Hours,” a time-bending story for fans of “The Ministry of Time” and “The Midnight Library.”

Wednesday, Sept. 10 – St. Charles: Library book talk
National bestselling author William Hazelgrove visits the St. Charles Public Library at 1PM to discuss his latest nonfiction work “Greed in the Gilded Age: The Brilliant Con of Cassie Chadwick,” about one of history’s most audacious scams.
