The City of Batavia has opened the bidding process for construction work to renovate the future home of the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry & Clothes Closet on First Street.

Key details

  • The project will overhaul the 15K-square-foot building at 916 First Street to accommodate the local nonprofit in a modern space.

  • Work includes interior demolition, new ADA-accessible restrooms, reconfigured office and warehouse space, new doors, HVAC updates, and improved parking and site access.

The Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry & Clothes Closet is a nonprofit founded by local churches to serve those who have lost a job, are underemployed, disabled, homeless or just have a need.
