A community rally focused on celebrating immigrants and their contributions is planned for early January in downtown St. Charles.

  • When and where: The rally is set for Saturday, January 3, from 11AM to Noon at 2 East Main Street in downtown St. Charles.

  • Purpose of event: Organizers say the gathering is meant to honor immigrants and highlight the ways they strengthen local towns, workplaces, schools, and families.

  • What to expect: The event will focus on themes of community, cultural diversity, and shared respect. Organizers are encouraging attendees to bring signs or American flags.

  • Organizers: The rally is hosted by We Can Lead Change Fox Valley, along with several partner organizations.

After the rally, organizers are encouraging attendees to visit downtown St. Charles restaurants that are owned or staffed by immigrants.
