Finding a quality happy hour on Friday is trickier than the other weekdays. However, if you know where to look, several hidden gems across the Tri-Cities offer a cost-efficient way to kick off your weekend.
Here are some worth checking out soon.
Batavia
Riverside Pizza & Pub | 3–6PM — Flat-rate deals across the board: $3.25 beers, $4.25 wines, $5.25 martinis. Hard to beat for a Friday wind-down.
Wilson Street Tavern | 4–6PM — No-frills and dependable: $2.50 domestics, $4 well drinks.
Windmill Grille & Pizzeria | 3–5PM — Rotating drink specials plus a Friday Fish Fry. Worth a call ahead to see what’s on tap and hear about the catch of the day.
Geneva
Enigma | 3–5PM — The most food-forward happy hour on this list. A full tapas menu at HH prices — tacos, ceviche, elotes, guac — alongside craft cocktails like a smoked mezcal old fashioned and jalapeño-infused vodka drinks, most in the $3.50–$10 range.
Mosaic Kitchen & Cocktails | 4–6PM — $8 cocktails (negroni, old fashioned, margarita, daiquiri, lemon drop), $4 draft beer, and a solid food menu including hummus, falafel, baba ganoush, and a burger with fries.
Geneva Ale House | 3–5PM — $5 house wine (red or white, bartender's choice), half-price drafts, and a $10 Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned. Food deals include $1 wings, $2 fried pickles, and $4 mini sandwiches — burger, pork, or filet.
Walrus Room | 5-6PM — An excellent “social hour” featuring five drink specials and six food specials. Details here.
St. Charles
3rd Street Pub | 4–6PM — One of the better value deals in the area. Domestic drafts start at $3, craft pours at $4, house wine at $3, Tito's cocktails at $5. Food specials include street corn skillet, cheese curds, mozz sticks, and a burger with fries — most items $6–$8.
Flagship on the Fox | 3–6PM — A nice three-hour window for your enjoyment. Draft domestics at $3.50, High Noon cans at $4, house wine at $6, Tito's cocktails at $6, plus apps from $6.
The Filling Station Pub & Grill | 3–6PM — $3 Miller Lite drafts, $6 Tito's cocktails, and a food lineup that includes smash burger tacos, cod bites, truffle cheese fries, and bacon jalapeño mac — all $6.
El Santo Mexican Grill & Cantina | 2–5PM — Starts the earliest of any spot on this list. Half off house margaritas and the "Mexican Dive" combo (Margarita + Corona).
Rookies Sports Bar | 3–5PM — Classic sports bar happy hour: $2 drafts, $3 imports, half-price burgers.
Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant | 3–5:30PM — The wine-lover's option. $8 glasses from a rotating international list, plus $8 cocktails, $17 sangria flights, and small plates like truffle arancini, smoked salmon spread, and smash sliders for $10 to $12.
