Deep dish fans — the time has nearly come.

Lou Malnati’s announced that it will open its new St. Charles restaurant on Tuesday, Oct. 27, in the Fox Haven Square development near Kirk Road and East Main Street.

The 6,200-square-foot establishment will be the Chicago chain’s 70th location and is expected to bring about 100 jobs to town.

Here’s what to know:

  • More than carryout: The restaurant includes a full-service dining room, a bar, and a private dining room, along with carryout, delivery, and catering.

  • What’s on the menu? Diners can expect the classic buttercrust deep dish, plus thin crust, gluten-free options, salads, pastas, appetizers, and desserts.

  • Leaning into local: Lou’s teamed up with the St. Charles History Museum to fill the space with historic photos and stories from the city’s past, mixed in with Malnati family photos and pizza-pan décor.

  • First of its kind: St. Charles is the first Lou Malnati’s to debut the company’s refreshed look, with updated interiors, visuals, and menu design.

"We're thrilled to welcome Lou Malnati's to Fox Haven Square and see this highly anticipated addition open its doors," said Pat Greco, president of G Ninety Family Partners. "Lou’s is an iconic Chicago brand, and we believe the restaurant will be a tremendous addition to both the development and the St. Charles community."

The company says it plans to build local partnerships and support St. Charles organizations once the doors open.

"Since 1971, we've been focused on bringing people together over our handmade deep dish, and we look forward to putting down roots in St. Charles, building lasting relationships and becoming a trusted part of the community for years to come," said Julie Younglove-Webb, CEO of Lou Malnati's.
