A popular burger series is making a comeback at The Graceful Ordinary — and this time, it’s teaming up with one of Chicago’s most celebrated chefs.

Chef Bill Kim, known for his creative twists at Urbanbelly, Ramen Bar, and the new Dimmi Dimmi in Lincoln Park, is joining forces with The Graceful Ordinary in St. Charles for the latest edition of its Big City Burger Collab. The special runs for a limited time, blending comfort-food nostalgia with high-end flair.

The star of the menu is the “Bill Kim Pizza Burger,” built on toasted garlic bread buns and layered with sweet marinara, fresh mozzarella, and a shower of grated parmesan.

Chef Bill Kim’s background spans kitchens from Le Titi de Paris and Ciboulette to a sous chef role at Charlie Trotter’s, the acclaimed two-MICHELIN-star restaurant.

The collab runs Tuesday, October 7 through Sunday, October 12 during happy hour, late-night service, Saturday lunch, and Sunday brunch.

The burger is priced at $18 and is available exclusively at the riverside restaurant in downtown St. Charles.

"The idea behind the pizza burger was to merge two comfort food icons into one nostalgic, craveable bite, said Chef Bill Kim. “Chris and I wanted to create something fun, familiar, and totally unexpected, a burger that eats like a slice of pizza.”

This marks the latest installment in Chef Chris Curren’s popular burger collaboration series, which brings notable Chicago chefs west to the Fox River for one-week-only creations.
