A new opportunity to connect with farm life is opening in Batavia. Majestic Highlands Homestead, owned by Elisha Scodro, will welcome the public to meet Highland cows Maggie and Mabel through interactive sessions designed for families, individuals, and groups.
The Batavia Chamber of Commerce will mark the occasion with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, September 25.
Key things to know
Photo sessions: Folks can book a 50-minute guided photoshoot with Maggie and Mabel at the farm.
Cuddle sessions: People can also reserve a 30-minute visit to feed, brush, and walk the cows, which will also include time for photos.
Farm boutique: A small store sells a variety of Maggie & Mabel merchandise or gift certificates.
Booking: You can reserve your visit here for a photo or cuddle session.
According to posts from Majestic Highlands Homestead, interest in visiting the farm from local residents has been strong, with many requesting chances to stop by, interact with the cows, and capture photos. These sessions give folks a chance to do that while learning about the animals and spending time outdoors.
