A new mental health practice has moved into downtown Batavia, offering therapy for kids, teens, adults and couples.

Clever Fox Counseling held its grand opening Thursday, with Batavia Mayor Jeffery Schielke and Chamber of Commerce president Margaret Perreault on hand to welcome owner Kristy Gonyon to the city.

Here's what to know:

  • Where to find it: Clever Fox Counseling is located in the Tower Business Center, 28 S. Water St., Suite 204.

  • Who it serves: Gonyon, a licensed clinical professional counselor, works with kids, teens, adults and couples on issues including anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, body image, and life transitions.

  • What sets it apart: Gonyon also trained in dance and movement therapy, and brings creative and physical techniques into sessions when they fit a client's needs.
