As part of its initiatives for the upcoming year, the City of Batavia is moving forward with plans to install new signs at two city entrances and another at a city facility.
Key points
Locations: Two new entrance signs will be installed — one at Fabyan Parkway and Kirk Road and another on W. McKee Street near Wilson Street. A third sign will serve as a monument for the Public Works facility on Raddant Road.
Cost & contractor: The total cost for the project is just over $120M. The city waived the formal bidding process, awarding the contract to Aurora Sign Company.
Timeline: Installation and site restoration are expected to be completed by the end of March 2025.
