A familiar face has left downtown St. Charles.
Jeans and a Cute Top Shop closed its doors on 1st Street at the end of February after 15 years in the downtown corridor, with the owner consolidating operations into her existing Wheaton location.
Here's what to know:
The reason for the move: The owner chose not to renew her St. Charles lease, citing a desire to operate under one roof rather than manage two locations.
What happens to the staff: The manager who ran the St. Charles store is moving to Wheaton and will take over as manager of that location.
Where to find them: The Wheaton store at 123 W Wesley Street is now the sole location going forward, carrying the full inventory previously split between both shops.
