Finding a quality happy hour during the weekend is tricky. The weekdays, however, are a different story — you can find some truly eye-opening deals if you know where to look
Here are some Monday-Thursday options worth checking out soon.
Batavia
Riverside Pizza & Pub | 3–6PM | This is one of the most cost-effective options in the area: $3.25 beers, $4.25 wines, $5.25 martinis. They’ve got some great daily food specials too.
Sturdy Shelter Brewing | 2–5PM | They call it “social hour,” but the idea is the same. Swing by in the afternoon on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday for $5 draft beers.
Wilson Street Tavern | 4–6PM | This one is basic but dependable: $2.50 domestics, $4 well drinks.
Geneva
Altiro Latin Fusion | 3–5PM | A few of their top cocktails and margaritas are only $10, plus they have special prices on starters and a variety of tacos. Get the details.
Ella’s Italian Pub | 3–5:30PM | This one can become habit-forming: $9 for an Aperol Spritz, Mediterranean Mule, or Montenegro Sour; $6 draft beer, $8 wine, and half-off bar snacks.
Burger Local | 2–5PM | For drinks, you get $10 cocktails (some exclusions apply) plus $5 draft beers. On the food side, you have your choice of $1 wings, $10 smash burgers, and $4 tacos.
Geneva Ale House | 3–5PM | $5 house wine (red or white, bartender's choice), half-price drafts, and a $10 Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned. Food deals include $1 wings, $2 fried pickles, and $4 mini sandwiches — burger, pork, or filet.
Mosaic Kitchen & Cocktails | 4–6PM | $8 cocktails (negroni, old fashioned, margarita, daiquiri, lemon drop), $4 draft beer, and a solid food menu including hummus, falafel, baba ganoush, and a burger with fries. Get the details.
Up North Wine Tasting Room | 4-6PM | Enjoy $2 off glasses of wine on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Bonus — Wednesdays also feature $10 cocktails and $15 whiskey flights all day.
St. Charles
Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant | 3–5:30PM | The wine-lover's option. $8 glasses from a rotating international list, plus $8 cocktails, $17 sangria flights, and small plates like truffle arancini, smoked salmon spread, and smash sliders for $10 to $12.
El Santo Mexican Grill & Cantina | 2–5PM | Half off house margaritas and the "Mexican Dive" combo (Margarita + Corona).
fire + wine | 4-5:30PM | The Fox Haven Square newcomer has some solid weekday offerings: select wine pours $8, signature cocktails $10, select draft beers $5.
McNally’s Irish Pub | 3-6PM | They’re a Tri-Cities staple for a reason. Drinks include wine, Sangria, Krombacher, High Noons, and well drinks all for $5. Food offerings are pretzel bites, cod nuggets, curry chips, and sliders — all under $10.
Rec Haus | 3–6PM | This one differs by the day. Tuesdays feature $8 margaritas. Wednesdays offer $6 glasses of wine and $3 domestic beers. Then on Thursday you can get a Haus Old Fashioned, Whiskey Sour, or Tom Collins for $9. All three days include $3 domestic beers.
The Filling Station Pub & Grill | 3–6PM | $3 Miller Lite drafts, $6 Tito's cocktails, and a food lineup that includes smash burger tacos, cod bites, truffle cheese fries, and bacon jalapeño mac — all $6.
Whiskey Bend | 3–6PM | This one is robust. Drinks: WB Old Fashioned $10, Draft Beer $6, Domestic Beer $3.50, House Wine $6, Tito's Martinis $7. Food: WB Burger $12, Flatbreads $12, Hushpuppies $9, Hodgepodge $12.
