Graham’s 318 Coffee House announced in an email on April 16 that it will be closing its doors after its final day of business on April 28.
Citing a tumultuous few years following the onset of the pandemic, the family decided it needed to shift full focus to running their nearby chocolate shop on 3rd Street.
From the email:
Please know that this decision was not made lightly. We have agonized over it, weighing the pros and cons, and considering every possible alternative. But ultimately, we must do what is best for our family and the future of the business.
The coffee shop will remain open during its normal business hours leading up to April 28.
In less than 24 hours since the announcement, we’ve seen an outpouring of support online from both residents and businesses — with more sure to come in the days ahead.
I know one thing: I’ll be soaking in the warm, inviting atmosphere (and delicious coffee) of Graham’s 318 at least a few more times before the end of the road. It will be missed!
