Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, which is why St. Charles’ riverside dining destination The Graceful Ordinary is bringing back its Valentine’s Day giveaway, Wedding Date, for year two!

To celebrate love and partnership, Chef Chris Curren and the team are setting up ONE lucky couple to win an unforgettable four-course recreation of their wedding feast.

This exclusive opportunity is rooted in the love story of Megan and Chris, the husband-and-wife duo behind the award-winning restaurant. The Currens know the demands of wedding festivities often leave couples too occupied to savor their carefully selected meals, and this giveaway offers the winning couple a second chance to relish the dinner they chose to celebrate their love.

Here’s what last year’s winners enjoyed: Chef elevated the couple’s original Wild Mushroom & Truffle Arancini dish with a bolognese and crème fraiche, and transformed the original grilled salmon with raspberry crème fraiche into a smoky wood-roasted salmon with raspberry caramel foam, served with asparagus and toasted pine nuts.

For the finale, Pastry Chef Martina Preradovic enhanced their wedding cake of lemon white chocolate cake with raspberry filling into a succulent petit gâteaux with lemon cake, raspberry gelée, and white chocolate whipped ganache.

According to the winning couple, “We had the most special Valentine's Day of our lives! This was so absolutely amazing and every detail was set to remind us of our wedding day, down to the drinks we had named after our cats.”

Guest can enter by posting a photo of them and their spouse on Instagram and Facebook, tagging @thegracefulordinary, and sharing a favorite moment from their wedding along with the #TGOWeddingDate in the caption.
