Geneva Winery is making big moves.

The popular local spot has leased a new warehouse in Elburn, gearing up for a major production boost with plans to begin growing grapes locally. The expansion adds to the winery’s downtown Geneva and Batavia tasting rooms, where guests can already enjoy a wide selection of wines, live music, and vibrant outdoor seating.

Key things to know:

  • The new warehouse on Dempsey Street in Elburn is expected to allow them to produce as much wine in a month as they currently do in a year.

  • The owner plans to seek zoning approval to plant a vineyard at the 113-year-old Brundige Road farm he already owns.

  • Geneva Winery is known for experimenting with a variety of ingredients and flavors, often allowing customers to participate in the process.
