Fans of great wine, live music and hanging out along the Fox River should prepare to celebrate — Geneva Winery’s new Batavia location is now open (with limited hours this week).

Located at 5 N. River Street, Geneva Winery Wine Bar & Tasting Room held a soft opening on Friday, April 12. The Batavia Chamber has a ribbon cutting planned for 4PM on Thursday, April 18.

But they’re saving the real celebration for Saturday, April 20 when they’ll host a Grand Opening party from 4-11PM. The event will include live music, an interactive photo booth and a variety of special giveaways.

This new establishment is the result of more than a year of planning and preparing. Take a look at this progress update from about three months ago to see how far the space has come.
