A large corporate headquarters could soon break ground in Geneva, and city officials are considering a $250K incentive to help make it happen.

The proposed deal would support a build-to-suit facility for a global company on 55 acres just east of Kirk Road.

Here’s what to know:

  • Developer: The company behind the project, Venture One, plans to lease the entire space to a single tenant that would use it for offices, manufacturing and warehousing.

  • Property details: The facility would support more than 150 employees and be constructed to LEED certification standards.

  • Fees: Geneva’s proposed contribution includes a 50% reduction in city development fees, similar to incentives offered in other projects.

  • Infrastructure: The development would also add a new traffic signal at Kirk Road and complete a key water main loop.

The agreement will be reviewed at the June 2 Committee of the Whole meeting. See the executive summary on page 5 of the meeting agenda for more details.
