🏗️ Pizza, pickleball and more proposed for new STC plaza

If the proposed Fox Haven Square development is approved and constructed on St. Charles’ east side, here’s what we can expect:

  • Restaurants: Parlor Pizza and Hampton Social (both Chicago-based) have been floated, plus a Burger Local and a new Mexican restaurant

  • Retail: Nearly 40K square feet of retail and office space (according to the preliminary plan)

  • Parking: More than 400 spots on the west side of Kirk Road

  • Plaza: A central pedestrian plaza set between four buildings

  • Pickleball: A two-story indoor pickleball facility with an adjoining restaurant

It’s all part of a plan to reinvigorate a 7.5-acre lot near Charlestowne Mall. After a recent St. Charles Plan Commission meeting and public hearing, members recommended project approval with a few minor changes.

The developer behind the project — Greco Investment Management LLC — owns several key properties in the area, including Royal Fox Country Club and the Pheasant Run Industrial Park.

If all goes well, they’re hoping businesses will start opening in the new plaza by September 2025.
