CASA Kane County is inviting cyclists of all ages and skill levels to ride for a purpose at the Hope Echoes on the River Charity Bike Ride, taking place Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the Kane County Courthouse in Geneva.
This community event will raise funds for CASA Kane County, helping ensure every child in the foster care system has a committed advocate and a brighter future.
Ride details
Participants can choose from three scenic routes (10, 35, or 65 miles) along the Fox River, each designed to accommodate both casual riders and seasoned cyclists. Ride start times begin at 7AM (65-mile route), 9AM (35-mile route), and 10AM (10-mile route), with all routes concluding by noon at the courthouse.
Registration is open through August 28, 2026, with tiered pricing for all routes:
Adults (18+): $125
Youth (ages 13–17): $50
Children (12 and under): $20
All participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and water bottle with registration.
“This ride is about more than miles—it’s about making sure every child in foster care has someone by their side,” said Jim Di Ciaula, CASA Executive Director. “Each rider helps amplify a child’s voice and strengthen their path toward a safe, nurturing, and permanent home.”
Community and connection
Following the ride, participants and supporters can stay for a post-ride celebration featuring local food trucks, vendors, and opportunities to connect with fellow riders and community partners.
Helmets are required for all participants, and riders are encouraged to ensure their bicycles are in good working condition prior to the event. Onsite technical support will be available from Sammy’s Bikes to assist with minor repairs throughout the day.

The event is sponsored by Galloway Consolidated Holdings—and their philanthropic arm, Hope Echoes; IOC Construction; and Sammy’s Bikes. The event’s fundraising goal is $250,000, with all registration proceeds directly supporting CASA Kane County’s mission.
