The Wednesday Evening Batavia Farmers' Market is back for its third season, and it has a new home.

Starting June 10, the weekly market will run from 5PM to 8PM at the South Riverwalk Plaza, the outdoor space along N. Island Ave. and Houston St. in front of City Hall, replacing its previous downtown location.

Here's what to know:

  • New location along the Fox River: The South Riverwalk Plaza puts the market steps from the water, with the Peace Bridge nearby and views of the Fox River throughout. Parking is available in the public lot off N. River Street between State and Spring streets.

  • About 20 weekly vendors: The market brings back returning favorites alongside new additions, with fresh produce, farm-raised meats, artisan cheese, baked goods, ready-to-eat food, and beverages including kombucha, matcha, dirty sodas, and lemonade.

  • Opening day extras: Vendors are rolling out special features on June 10, including a build-your-own salad bowl, cheesecake samples, and a mystery marshmallow flavor. Shoppers who make a purchase can enter a raffle for one of two $50 Downtown Dollars prizes, redeemable at dozens of downtown Batavia businesses.

The market overlaps with the Batavia Park District's River Rhapsody Concert Series at Peg Bond Center, making it easy to turn the evening into a full outing. The market also accepts SNAP benefits and offers LINK Match, which doubles SNAP dollars on fresh produce.

The market runs Wednesdays through the summer. Click here for more information.
