The Batavia Chamber of Commerce will hold its yearly "Inspire" celebration event on Thursday, April 25th at 6PM. This year's event, titled "Inspire 2024," will take place at Revelry 675's riverside venue at 675 S. River St. in Batavia.

During the event, several awards and honors will be given out. Dave and Marge Brown will be named the 2023 Batavia Citizens of the Year, while Batavia RSVP will receive the Spirit of Batavia award. The Fox Valley Patriotic Association and Batavia Flag Day Committee will receive a Batavia Community Impact Award for the Flag Day Monument downtown.

Several local businesses will also be recognized with Ole Awards for exemplifying confidence and investment in Batavia. Recipients include Acquaviva, Batavia Animal Clinic, Emagine Theatre, Grainology, JT's Tavern & Tap, Larsen Packaging, MOKA Coffee and New Moon Vegan.

Registration is now open for the in-person dinner event, and sponsorship opportunities are available. The Chamber is seeking donations of bourbon and whiskey for a wine/bourbon pull fundraiser. A raffle will be held to give attendees a chance to win a trip to Louisville — complete with a bourbon tour.
