As Anderson Humane begins its 60th anniversary year, the organization is inviting the community to help commemorate six decades of compassion, connection, and life changing moments through a new storytelling initiative titled 60 Stories in 60 Days.

For 60 years, Anderson Humane has been shaped by the people and pets it serves. From adoptions and foster experiences to volunteer moments and milestone events, these shared experiences form the heartbeat of the organization’s mission. This January, Anderson Humane will collect and share 60 personal stories that reflect the powerful bond between people and animals.

Community members are encouraged to share a moment when Anderson Humane touched their life or when they helped change the life of an animal. Stories may be joyful, transformative, or quietly meaningful. Each one helps illustrate why people and pets are truly better together.

“These stories are not just memories. They are the living proof of our mission in action,” said Dean Daubert, President and CEO of Anderson Humane. “As we celebrate 60 years, we want to honor the community that made it possible and the animals whose lives were changed along the way.”

Submitted stories may be featured throughout the anniversary year across Anderson Humane communications and platforms, highlighting the impact of the organization and the people who stand behind it.

Community members can share their stories online at ahconnects.org.
