The first 100 participants receive a commemorative patch. Equipment and safety instruction are provided. The range opens for public shooting at 1PM.
Permits coming soon: The range will remain open through June. Starting July 1, a permit will be required. Annual permits run $40 for residents and $65 for non-residents (discounted to $20 and $35 if purchased after Dec. 31). Daily permits are $10 for residents and $20 for non-residents.
Classes on the way: The district plans to offer archery classes through the range. Staff have been certified as USA Archery Level 1 instructors, completing training alongside instructors from the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County.
